Emo Fest 2007

The weekend started off pretty emo if you ask me. A few of us started to fashion an idea in our heads which started after Edwin's shindig at Basic Wednesday night. By the time we all left, it was only 1130 PM and the night was still young. And whenever that happens... the Wii somehow sneaks it's way into our plans. The four of us decided to keep it emo and keep it going later during the week and have a Blockbuster slash Emo Friday night. Eating ice cream, drinking wine, and watching The Notebook was the original plan, but it evolved into much more than that, we all have our reasons, which are all completely true. Some were in the mood for love or just to be moody because it's close to that season. Friday night was all about the Heart-shaped cookies cause they make me whole, My Best Friend's Wedding, some ice cream, a couple glasses of wine, a video chat with Tk, a glimpse of Rachel Bilson topless makes you leave or leaves you breathless cause everything she does is magic or so they tell me, and so on and so forth. So... what's your top 5 slow jams/love song/emo song? To some, they might share a certain song, "our song," with a significant other or another person could relate to the artist's words and it might hold some sentimental value or something at least. Then again, the song might actually be catchy or that certain song might come from a particular movie and who you watched that movie with I could careless or I could give you the sarcastic "that's cute" or even the monotone "okay" or just say nothing at all. I might care though. Someone or some two random people might be crying and laughing at the same time while watching a movie just like the Notebook. It might be you or because of you or maybe another person could be smiling since Rachel McAdams was looking pretty good with those pretty brown eyes in that movie, especially when she was painting topless. She was probably making memories for us, but who knows. She was putting heads to sleep. People might act like a jellybean from time to time, a hard shell on the outside and soft on the inside, but you'll never know until you talk to someone by your side about some real issues. Emotions are ridiculous.

Well annnywaays (in Althea's voice), Saturday was another random drunken slash emo night, but not really. More drunk than emo if you ask me. I was reading for most of the day but decided I needed to get out of the house. So I talked to a few people and the plan was to eat dinner and watch a movie. The place we ate at was Miami Grill in Poway and we stayed there too long because the movie started at 1020 PM and we didn't even make it. Sorry. But when all else fails... Cheers! Our buddy from Detroit was tending bar again and we call him Jamie. We even have a hand shake for when we get there, and another one when we leave. 4 Pitchers of blue moon to start the night equals lots of beer and plenty of free shots.

At last, Sunday was another lazy one. I was pretty much half-ass reading and writing my paper and watching movies at the same time.

Only one picture for this post so far cause it was pretty emo. The pictures I would post would be the ones on George's phone. We all took pictures with the flyer from Miami grill and the girl's lips kissing you or was that being you? Oh well, I'll try to steal them from him somehow.

The Long Pour.

Let's keep it emo so leave a comment and tell me your top 5 jams if you don't see them on the left. There will be CD out for you soon. And off on a tangent. Who do you crave? Kate Beckinsale or Kristen Kreuk? Beckinsale for me.

"There are times when you'll need someone. I will be by your side. I'll take my chances before they pass, pass me by. There is a light that shines, special for you and me. You need to look at the other side, you'll agree."
