Some Kind of Wonderful.
Relationships are easy to get into, yet hard to maintain. Truth? Yes indeed. A relationship is easily comparable to breakfast, bread to be exact. Yes, your significant other is a piece of bread in that odd, sexy way. The point is, some people are picky with what they eat and in this case, bread. Some like it the way it is, others like it toasted, and the there are those who like it with no crust, or maybe even buttered up. In a relationship, both parties need to enjoy the whole slice of bread, the crust and even the bread crumbs at the bottom of the toaster. But the bread is just the person. When compared to breakfast, people enjoy a tall glass of O.J. maybe milk or coffee. Also, you might eat a breakfast which consists of over-easy eggs mixed with some ketchup, a waffle, eggs Benedict, or country fried steak with some mashed potatoes. Each food is another part of the relationship people deal with. They grow accustomed to it or they like to explore to try the different flavors of breakfast. All the other food is personal growth in a healthy diet of a relationship. You don't need it, you really don't. All of the other wonderful choices of food is just a cover up from what's in front of you, a piece of bread. In other words, if you are satisfied with what you have in front of you, a piece of bread, then why try something other than that if you know it will always satisfy your breakfast needs? And it breaks down to wants and needs. People eat differently and are never satisfied. I'm not even a bread kind of guy. I'm more of an everything bagel toasted with butter and cream cheese and a cup of orange juice type of person. Now that's some kind of wonderful.
